Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Develops and maintains PM program for processing equipment by scheduling and managing all maintenance activities* Manages the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; adhering to operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.* Ability to identify problems by observing mechanical devices in operation* Manages full-time, temporary and contract maintenance personnel* Develops and maintains contracts with vendors* Ability to purchase and negotiate cost effective tools, parts and maintenance/repair service from suppliers* Manages and avoids downtime by leading personnel in routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring adherence* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt* Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends* Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsEducation* High School Diploma* Post-secondary education in Mechanical EngineeringExperience and Competencies:* Previous MRF experience* 3-5 years of experience in an maintenance management role* Experience with Microsoft Excel is required* Strong attention to detail* Prompt, professional and dependable demeanorPersonal characteristics: * Behave Ethically: Understand ethical behavior and business practices.
