The Sales Engineer is a key member of the sales organization, responsible for delivering high-impact pre-sales technical demonstrations and solution consulting for **Trimble Construction One (TC1)**—a modern, integrated ecosystem that supports accounting, project management, and operational workflows for construction companies across the United States.* Provide trusted consulting expertise when engaging executive stakeholders, including CEOs, Presidents, CFOs, and Estimating Leadership.* Apply construction industry knowledge to address customer pain points, facilitate solution alignment, and support deal progression.* Partner closely with the Trimble Construction One Product team to document process gaps, product limitations, reporting requirements, and potential workarounds or solutions.* Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Trimble Construction One product suite and related industry solutions.* Contribute to and maintain internal knowledge bases, demo environments, and sales enablement tools.* Help curate and update the master software presentation library to ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance.* Deep understanding of construction industry workflows, particularly across accounting, operations, and information technology.* Strong knowledge of how construction companies collect, manage, and leverage data to establish KPIs and improve business decision-making.* Exceptional ability to communicate with C-level and executive stakeholders using high emotional intelligence and business acumen.* Proven track record of sustained high performance; leads by example with a positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude.* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document requirements and desired workflow outcomes.* Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to audiences of varying sizes and technical knowledge.* Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity or change.* Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.* Represents Trimble with integrity, credibility, and accountability.* Significant experience in software implementation consulting, pre-sales solution engineering, or enterprise software support.* Extensive knowledge of Spectrum or comparable construction ERP solutions (e.g., Vista, Sage 100/300, Foundation, ComputerEase, Jonas, Acumatica).* Deep experience within the construction industry, including familiarity with common document and data workflows.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or a related field, **or** equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.

* Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.* Ability to qualify for a U.S. passport.* Ability to qualify for a company credit card or maintain a personal credit card with sufficient limits for travel expenses.****Compensation:**** Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
