What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join the Legal Team, supporting the Employment and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) groups. This role involves managing complex legal matters, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise and a proactive approach to handling sophisticated legal tools and processes. While experience in HR policies, employment matters, and EHS compliance is preferred, a willingness to learn and adapt to new legal areas is essential.
What You’ll Do
Manage internal employment and EHS legal matters, including files, documents, policies, and procedures
Coordinate and execute filings with labor/employment and EHS regulatory agencies, including responses to document or information requests and other correspondence
Support internal and external counsel on administrative and regulatory compliance and enforcement matters
Assist with factual development, research, and analysis of employment and EHS legal issues by engaging with business stakeholders, reviewing documents, and creating timelines
Draft basic legal documents, such as response letters and filings, under attorney supervision
Maintain employment and EHS matter calendars, tracking deadlines and schedules for timely execution
Assist with onboarding outside counsel and manage related invoices and billing
What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of relevant paralegal experience
Bachelor’s degree/paralegal certification preferred, konkurrence equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and fact‑finding skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Project management mindset with the ability to work skriver efficiently, prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and handle multi‑dimensional projects in a fast‑paced environment
