American Senior Communities is hiring a
Business Office Specialist
to support multiple properties across its skilled nursing division. The role involves traveling to locations throughout Indiana to provide training for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Resident Trust.
Responsibilities
Ensure all accounts at each property are in the correct collection phase by working with Business Office personnel, third‑party personnel, and family members.
Provide ongoing training and updates for all Business Office personnel on job duties and policies.
Validate all paperwork submitted by a property to ensure accuracy of forms and adjustments.
Participate in administrative staff meetings and facility morning meetings.
Provide backup support for property payroll when needed.
Complete industry audits and address compliance issues involving government entities, audits, reviews, and annual compliance requirements.
Serve as a resource for all third‑party and family member questions.
Assist Business Office personnel in all financial reviews.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Three years of Business Office experience required; experience in a Long‑Term Care setting preferred.
