Mental Health Therapist (Hybrid)

Job Description Job Description Position Summary Psychotherapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapeutic treatment services, and support services for a diverse caseload to include adults, adolescents, and children. These outpatient psychotherapy services will be provided via teletherapy (online/video chat) or in-person. Average caseload is 25 clients. Duties ● Conduct individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy or marital/couples counseling. ● Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults. ● Maintain confidentiality of client records. ● Submit clinical notes for billing purposes in a timely fashion. ● Experience utilizing healthcare software electronic medical records (EMR) and computer systems. ● Professional communication and presentation skills. ● Participate in supervision, case reviews and monthly staff meetings. Qualifications ● Must have license in the state of Maryland and/or the District of Columbia in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. ● Two (2) years of diagnostic assessment experience and therapeutic treatment services. ● Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends (available). ● Strong written and oral communication skills. ● Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills. ● Writing sample is required. ● Designated work area/office to include high speed internet, computer, chair, table, and door in adherence to HIPAA compliance. ● CAQH application and Individual NPI number (established). ● Professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
