Contributions to the Team
Knowledge of USMCA Trade agreements, import/export rules, regulations, and processes
Monitor and communicate updates in Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) regulations and tariff schedules
Assist with managing day‑to‑day vendor operations for the Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)
Maintain and update compliance manuals, SOPs, and internal controls
Conduct internal compliance audits and report risk and improvement actions to leadership
Review Customs and International Bonds as required
Provide transportation routing guidance for internal customers
Coordinate and manage trade programs such as USMCA, AUKUS, etc.
Monitor compliance with Trade Compliance policy and provide technical expertise for all domestic Bombardier sites
Respond to inquiries from U.S. Customs and Border Protection
Coordinate meetings with Legal, Finance, Taxation, outside counsel, and suppliers regarding Customs laws and regulations
How to Thrive in This Role
5+ years of experience in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, trade compliance, and customs regulations
BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience
Certification in Customs Compliance (CUSECO, CCS, or similar) required
US Customs Broker license required
Familiarity with C‑TPAT, EAR, ITAR, and other trade compliance programs
Experience with ACE data and duty drawback processes
HTS/Schedule B code classification knowledge
Compensation Starting Salary: $91,600 - $130,000
