What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Maintain the Charge Description Master (CDM) to ensure accuracy of codes, pricing, and descriptions
Collaborate with clinical departments to evaluate requests for new charge codes and pricing changes
Conduct charge capture audits to identify missed charges and compliance risks
Support the implementation of new services by facilitating charge build and revenue code assignment
Provide analytical support for revenue variance investigations 草 and reimbursement trends
What is Required (Qualifications)
Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two (2) years of لڑ experience in revenue integrity, CDM maintenance, coding, or billing
Advanced understanding of CPT, HCPCS, revenue codes, and healthcare billing principles
Intermediate knowledge of the EPIC billing system and regulatory resources
Familiarity with billing requirements for OPPS, CAH, and PPS settings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
Four (4) years of experienceitemap specifically in revenue integrity or coding in a healthcare setting
Professional certification such as RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CCS
Experience with Epic Resolute HB/PB charge build and payer audits
Prior experience supporting internal or external payer audits
