Food Operations Manager 2
for
Vanderbilt University Medical Center
in Nashville, TN. The position is part of Vanderbilt Health, a growing health system anchored by the university’s medical center, which includes seven hospitals and more than 200 clinics across Tennessee and neighboring states. The hospital has 1,000 licensed beds.
Position Overview The Food Operations Manager 2 will oversee all aspects of the patient meal program to ensure compliance and improve the patient experience. We are looking for a charismatic and organized individual to support frontline associates.
What You’ll Do
Oversee day‑to‑day patient services operations.
Coordinate required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff.
Deliver high‑quality food services in patient meal management operations.
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
Create and implement strategic plans.
Ensure HACCP, regulatory, and standards compliance.
Interact daily with patients, their families, and the clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction.
Create a positive work environment.
Maintain Sodexo standards.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Management Experience – 2 Years.
Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years work experience in food or culinary services, including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
