Conference Planner (Portuguese speaking) — Gartner Join Gartner as a Conference Planner (Portuguese speaking) within the global Content Management team, responsible for agenda management and session delivery for global conferences.

What You Will Do

Lead operational delivery of all agenda elements across multiple in‑person conferences, including agenda management, capacity management, financial management, and staff planning.

Communicate and collaborate across conference operations teams to ensure seamless first‑class delivery.

Partner with program management to develop and roll out new processes for session management and agenda guidelines.

Create and continuously manage the client‑facing website and mobile app that display all session information, adhering to go‑live and access deadlines.

Analyze data to improve attendee engagement and predict behavior to determine the best course of action on conference elements.

Create and maintain a conference master planner to keep session and room allocation information up to date for all stakeholders.

Attend conferences as the onsite lead, managing session execution, data collection, and liaison with agency partners and vendors.

Partner with the Content leadership team on projects, providing feedback to maximize output.

Liaise with key partners and team members to ensure successful agenda execution.

Build and maintain strong relationships by establishing trust and partnership.

What Will Be Expected

Achieve operational excellence and execute global conferences on time, within budget, with meticulous attention to detail.

Ensure conference consistency through standardized processes, project management, and best practices during planning and on‑site execution.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Gartner’s conference business, including the value proposition for attendees and exhibitors.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

Portuguese language skills (required).

At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Experience working in a corporate environment.

Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, cross‑functional and with agency partners.

Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Creative, innovative, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.

Motivated team player eager to learn and grow.

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to adapt, implement, and manage change and to strive for continual improvement.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in high‑pressure situations.

Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
