Videographer (Freelance) Our Med Device client is seeking a Freelance Videographer to embed with our internal marketing and creative teams and drive a consistent, brand‑aligned video presence across all channels. This role is designed for a full‑cycle video production professional who can take projects from initial concept through final delivery, while acting as an integrated, long‑term creative partner inside our organization.
About the Role We are consolidating video work that has historically been distributed across multiple agencies, resulting in varied styles and quality. You will be the central point of ownership for video, responsible for establishing and maintaining a unified visual and storytelling approach that reflects our brand, our technology, and the patients and providers we serve.
This is a 6‑month initial freelance engagement with a strong intent for contract‑to‑hire, based on fit and performance. During this period, you’ll work closely with marketing, communications, clinical education, and leadership stakeholders to produce a wide range of content, including product explainers, clinical education videos, patient stories, internal communications, event coverage, and digital/social assets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full‑cycle video production from brief to final delivery, including concept development, planning, filming, editing, and post‑production.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate strategic objectives into clear, compelling video concepts and storyboards.
Plan and execute shoots (on‑site and, when needed, remote), including lighting, sound, camera operation, and direction of on‑camera talent.
Edit footage into polished, on‑brand content tailored for multiple formats (web, social, email, sales enablement, internal communications, events).
Develop and maintain a consistent visual style, motion graphics approach, and narrative tone that align with Inspire Medical Systems’ brand guidelines.
Standardize workflows and templates to ensure repeatable, scalable production and consistent quality across all initiatives.
Manage video assets, including organizing raw footage, maintaining a central library, and ensuring proper version control.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while upholding creative integrity and brand consistency.
Stay current with best practices in digital and social video to recommend format, length, and style optimizations.
Advise on and help refine internal processes to reduce reliance on external agencies and improve speed‑to‑market.
Qualifications
Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in full‑cycle video production and editing, ideally within a corporate, healthcare, or technology environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, shooting, and high‑quality editing across a variety of formats.
Expertise with industry‑standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
Hands‑on experience with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment suitable for professional, interview‑based, and on‑location shoots.
Ability to create and apply brand‑consistent graphics, lower thirds, and motion elements.
Comfort working as a long‑term embedded partner with internal teams, including participating in planning meetings and cross‑functional reviews.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate feedback into actionable edits.
Experience creating content for digital platforms and social channels, with an understanding of format and aspect ratio requirements.
