Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating construction drawings, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and project teams to deliver innovative design solutions. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client needs, developing detailed designs, ensuring project specifications align with budgets, and managing the execution of design concepts through to completion.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
Knowledge of Architecture and experience with Construction Drawings
Experience in sourcing and selecting FF&E
Strong project management and communication skills
Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices is a plus
Prior experience in high-end commercial, retail, or residential projects is an advantage
