Level IV : Requires 8+ years of relevant professional graphic design experience, with demonstrated experience producing high-visibility publications and reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce a wide range of specialized graphic and illustrative materials, including complex, data-driven reports such as the Supplier Diversity Annual Report submitted to the CPUC. Translate program objectives, regulatory requirements, and performance metrics into clear, effective, and visually compelling designs.
Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to assess design needs and develop appropriate graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for assigned projects. Participate in planning sessions and project meetings as needed. Continuously improve workflows and processes to increase efficiency while maintaining high design quality and brand integrity.
Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables by applying and upholding SoCalGas branding guidelines. Contribute to the evolution of visual standards as appropriate while maintaining alignment with corporate identity requirements.
Oversee and coordinate the production process from concept through final delivery. Provide production specifications, select appropriate production methods and materials, review proofs for accuracy, and confirm adherence to production standards and brand guidelines.
Coordinate and maintain graphic, art, image, and video asset libraries to support ongoing and future design needs.
Identify, select, and coordinate with external vendors for printing, publication, and specialty services as required by project scope. Recommend and manage contractors such as printers, illustrators, photographers, and other creative professionals.
Provide design and creative support to the Supplier Diversity team for additional initiatives, presentations, outreach materials, and internal communications, as needed to support program objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of Supplier Diversity initiatives, regulatory reporting requirements, and departmental priorities.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
Education Level : Bachelor's degree in art, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a comparable discipline.
