BETCHES MEDIA
About Us:
Betches Media is the ultimate digital media and lifestyle destination for women. As a pioneer in the humor and entertainment space, we’ve built a powerful platform that connects with over 250M fans across social media, podcasts, web, events, and e-commerce. Our funny, honest, and candid approach resonates with women globally, creating a one‑of‑a‑kind community.
Now as a part of LBG Media, Betches is in an exciting new chapter, leveraging the global reach and innovation of our parent company to push the boundaries ofriques creative media.
This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of Betches Media and propel the brand through its next phase of growth.
Description Betches Media is looking for a creative, hilarious social creator to manage our Gen Z‑focused Send Help vertical, overseeing day‑to‑day content and helping to guide our larger Gen Z strategy. Are you the resident TikTok drama expert in your friend group? Is your camera roll full of Heated Rivalry and The Summer I Turned Pretty fan edits? Do you cope with your crashouts by making memes, TikToks, and Reels? If this sounds like you, you might be the next face of Betches’ Gen Z content.
This role is for someone who has a deep knowledge of Gen Z online and pop culture, and the passion to find (and create) the next viral series, content trends, and formats. As a key member of our content team, you’ll be helping to develop platform‑first strategies, creating original social video series and franchises, and ensuring our content is both hilarious for our audience and monetizable for the business.
The ideal candidate has a fast‑paced creative mind, and you should be just as comfortable on camera as you are behind a keyboard. You’re also ideally a thought leader in social and production, with deep knowledge of how platforms evolve, how audiences behave, and how to create content that cuts through the noise, whether it’s a one‑off moment or an idea that can be built into our next big series.
This role reports to the Director of Entertainment & Emerging Audiences and collaborates closely across all content verticals, branded, sales, and other departments to deliver a best‑in‑class content experience. You’ll also be working closely with our freelance college creators, helping to create high‑quality content that resonates with our Gen Z audience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Own and lead creative strategy for the Send Help account, driving both production and social strategy that aligns with brand goals and audience growth.
Develop, launch, and oversee innovative content franchises (video‑first, series‑driven, and monetizable) that become cultural touchpoints for our audience.
Stay ahead of platform trends and set the vision for how Betches and Send Help show up on Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and future emerging platforms.
Drive performance and growth by analyzing metrics, audience behavior, and platform insights, turning data into creative opportunities.
Be a face of the brand across social video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories, etc.), with a confident, funny, and relatable presence.
Lead creative ideation sessions that push boundaries of what Send Help content can look like, Santiago audiences delight with monetization opportunities.
Collaborate with branded and revenue teams to create content that is both authentic to Betches’ voice and irresistible to advertisers.
Collaborate with fellow team members, including college creators, helping guide creative output and fostering a culture of experimentation and bold ideas.
Cover major live cultural events (Met Gala, Super Bowl, award shows, reality finales) in real time with smart, funny, and viral content.
Represent Betches and Send Help externally, building relationships with creators, talent, and partners to expand the brand’s influence.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, and platform‑first creative development.
Proven track record of creating viral, funny and highly shareable content (examples_importer encouraged).
Deep expertise in short‑ည့် video — TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts — and an instinct for what makes video‑first formats thrive.
Strong comedic voice and cultural fluency — you are both extremely online and adept at translating trends into smart, funny brand content.
Ability to own and execute social strategy at a brand level, including audience development, platform evolution, and long‑term rentals direction.
Strong on‑camera presence and comfort being a forward‑facing representative of the brand. Experience developing series/franchises that balance creativity, repeatability, and monetization. Skilled at translating data into insights, and insights into strategy.
Organized, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a fast‑moving, cross‑functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but killer instincts, experience, and receipts are what we care most.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other creative tools; video editing skills are a plus.
Compensation The expected annual base salary for this role is $70,000 - $100,000. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
