Supervisor 2nd Shift – Milwaukee Tool The 2nd Shift Quality Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring quality audits in multiple areas of the distribution center, implementing all policies and procedures, mentoring, and developing the staff. This position contributes to the Milwaukee team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required. The supervisor is customer-focused and quality driven.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for leading team objectives on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Lead and coordinate the quality team in the distribution center to meet audit schedules by optimizing auditing processes and balancing audit workloads.

Supervise Lead DC and Quality Auditors to provide adequate sampling across all areas to meet changing customer needs.

Train, develop, motivate, counsel, and assist team members in work instructions and performance standards.

Perform all related supervisory and human resource functions (work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, performance counseling, time sheets).

Ensure the integrity of the quality data.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all departments and teams.

Assign work and special projects to team members to develop work experience and flexibility.

Requisition resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expedite as required.

Contribute to the team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a distribution center quality environment.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

2+ years of supervisory experience working in a DC environment.
