Responsibilities Safety Professional- Second Shift- 12pm-10pm

Safety Specialist , you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

HazTek is seeking an experienced

Safety Specialist

to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance

Pre cast concrete construction with all new mechanical systems.

Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations

Daily safety audits and inspections

New construction- fall hazards, electrical, excavations, heavy equipment, scaffolding, silica dust and potential confined space.

Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required

OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus

CHST or CSP preferred

Advance knowledge of construction safety standards

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Proficient Microsoft Office skills
