Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery seeks a General Surgeon with interest in Bariatric Surgery. The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank and will practice in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities
Practice in the areas of general surgery/bariatric surgery.
Provide excellent patient care, including pre‑ and postoperative management.
Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for a state medical license.
Completed a general surgery residency program.
Completed a bariatric surgery fellowship program.
Board certified or eligible in general surgery and bariatrics.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Work Hours Scheduled weekly hours: 40; Shift: Exempt/Non‑Exempt: United States of America (Exempt).
