Three-Year Cooperative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

program—the first of its kind in New England. This unique program blends the most effective elements of diploma, associate, and bachelor’s degree nursing education, enriched by components of the designated education unit and internship model. Developed as a true Academic‑Practice Partnership, this program fosters collaboration between academia and healthcare organizations to prepare a skilled nursing workforce to meet the evolving demands of 21st‑century healthcare delivery.

Program Highlights

Cohort-based learning in a dynamic, concept-based curriculum.

Students complete 124 credits in under three years, following a year‑round academic calendar.

Students earn 36 credits through three paid, immersive clinical experiences as an employee of a partner organization.

Position is to begin January 2026.

Teaching and Instruction Deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and clinical practicums using diverse and evidence‑based teaching methods to facilitate student learning.

Curriculum Development Design, evaluate, and update course materials and curriculum to align with accreditation standards and the latest evidence-based practices.

Student Advising and Mentorship Provide academic and career guidance, fostering student development and success while addressing academic challenges.

Service to Institution and Community Participate in committees, faculty meetings, recruitment activities, and outreach programs to support institutional and program goals.

Professional Development and Scholarship Engage in research, continuing education, and scholarly activities to remain current in nursing education and practice, contributing to the profession’s advancement.

Required Qualifications

Hold a current and active RN or NP license in New Hampshire.

A Master’s degree in Nursing.

At least two years of relevant nursing experience in the specific area of educational responsibility, e.g., adult, pediatric, gynecologic/obstetric, or mental health.
