Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles and provide courteous, efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages; check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; perform related customer service functions; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Education : High school diploma or GED. Minimum Experience : Six (6) months courier experience preferred; must demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance; good human relations and verbal communication skills; thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred; demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods; minimum age 21; proficiency in reading and speaking English sufficient to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions
Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record as outlined in policy. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Preferred Qualifications
Compensation range is $25.65 – $38.93 per hour, with pay determined by experience, market level, and other factors permitted by law. Eligible employees receive health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Benefits
