Location 2621 NE 46th Street, Seattle, WA 98105 (University Village)
Compensation $24.50 per hour. Base wage may vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.

About the Role Line cooks (steamers) are responsible for steaming dumplings for guests, assembling dumpling order, and closing the dumpling station. They also maintain a clean, groomed, and professional appearance in the show kitchen.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks
Roll dumpling/bun skin
Stuff the dumplings/buns
Arrange the dumplings/buns in the steamer properly
Add necessary meat and allergen identifiers
Steam the dumplings/buns for the appropriate amount of time
Clean the dumpling room and steamer station
Label all items in accordance with health regulations and DTF procedures
Attend monthly staff meetings and dumpling meetings
Supporting Functions
Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
Organize items within walk‑in coolers and freezers
Lifting/moving boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information, including recipes and SOPs

Friendly, energetic, highly motivated, and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Open availability
Eager to learn and enjoy being challenged
Ability to stand for long periods of time
