This position offers a salary in the 1A Grade 7 schedule (attached) with an hourly pay range of $17.16 to $24.06. The working calendar consists of 215 days at 7 hours per day. Salary placement follows the board approved rules.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume responsibility, under the direction of the Principal, for facilitating a school‑based student‑centered program designed to identify students experiencing difficulty in school and to modify students’ specific needs.
Assist with extracurricular activities.
Work cooperatively with teachers, parents, and community organizations to establish and maintain a positive image of the school and the district.
Assist with security and safety measures in the school.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Record‑keeping skills.
Successful experience working with students.
Effective communication skills.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
