Job Summary
Defense Litigation Paralegal
– 100% Remote.
Our growing regional law firm seeks a highly organized, self‑starter to support personal injury and construction‑related cases. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize, collaborate, and manage pressure while working on complex litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation, from inception to trial.
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare reports to support case preparation.
Manage and organize large volumes of documents, including medical records, discovery items, and other case files.
Coordinate and maintain timelines for court filings and case events.
Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including document review.
Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and legal professionals.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense and civil litigation.
Paralegal degree or certificate from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation support software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Residency in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, or Colorado.
