ERS is a specialty disaster recovery company focused on restoration of machinery, electronics, appliances, musical instruments, and other specialty items after fire, water, mold, and other losses occur.
Job Summary We are seeking a full‑time electronics restoration technician. This person will work with our team of technicians to conduct testing, disassembly, restoration (training provided), re‑assembly, and troubleshooting of the items above. The position is primarily based in our shop, but may require working in various environments after losses occur, often in hot, power‑unstable locations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct testing, disassembly, restoration, re‑assembly, and troubleshooting of electronics and appliances.
Assist operations in the field during packouts/deliveries, including driving a company vehicle, digital inventory, packing and transporting items.
Perform on‑site restoration work where required.
Maintain team spirit, execute tasks quickly and accurately, and provide empathy to customers.
Adapt to last‑minute schedule or job priority changes and stay late when necessary.
Qualifications
Speak clear English (second language is a plus).
Flexible with last‑minute changes to schedule or job priority.
Experience troubleshooting electronics and appliances.
Pass a criminal background and drug screen.
Working knowledge of home appliance installation and home theater components/installation.
Willing to travel short periods (up to a week) up to 20% of the time.
Team player with positive attitude and wise judgment.
Ability to lift at least 55 lbs.
Valid driver’s license.
Schedule & Compensation Typical work schedule is Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm; some jobs may require staying late.
Pay ranges from $14 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
