Tender Engineer
Scope: Responsible for day‑to‑day analysis of uncomplex Request For Quotation (RFQ) processes, preparing costings with standard tools, ensuring offer documentation aligns with data supplied by the opportunity leader, and performing simple risk analyses as required.
Key activities
Provide support to the Tender Manager in tendering team daily actions.
Process customer RFQ efficiently and meet requested dates, escalating if necessary.
Interpret customer specifications and clarify any ambiguities before uploading RFQs.
Ensure compliance with terms and conditions, raising deviations to the Tender Manager.
Prepare hand‑over documents following ETO Toolbox classification and attend hand‑over meetings.
Participate in local SIM meetings and support Tender Manager's attendance in other unit SIM meetings.
Engage in self‑development via Schneider University, e‑learning, or external training.
Qualifications
Engineering‑related degree.
1–3 years in tendering and/or project management.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
ERP system understanding.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
Business understanding.
