Salary
Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
Duties / Responsibilities
Thorough knowledge of wastewater & sewer rehab construction materials, technologies, and equipment
Utilize technical knowledge of construction inspection, construction field management, QA / QC and report documentation, on various construction and/or reconstruction projects for municipal water and wastewater treatment projects
Maintains quality assurance requirements and approaches and monitors code compliance issues.
Reviews submittals and other construction documents and recommends technical solutions.
Prepares test results documentation to relay job progress and describe unusual job site conditions.
Learns job-related material through on-the-job training and in a classroom setting regarding field and lab sampling and testing procedures.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of inspection experience, with a strong background in sanitary sewer systems
NASSCO Certified (PACP, MACP and LACP) is required
Inspector experience is required
GSWCC Level 1B Soil and Erosion Certificate required
GWWI Water Distribution System Operator License required
Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Attention to detail and documentation.
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees and the public.
Ability to interact with contractors/construction personnel to assure work activities meet required quality.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Physical Requirements
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
The worker is subject to variable climate and environmental conditions including but not limited to extreme cold and heat.
