Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a New Product Distribution Manager – RTW & Shoes. As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will oversee the launch, distribution, and flow of new products across the Americas zone. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills who can ensure timely and accurate delivery of product to maximize sales potential while supporting the Maison’s image and retail objectives. As a New Product Distribution Manager, you will have the opportunity to partner with Merchandising, Logistics, and Retail teams to ensure the seamless execution of new product launches. Job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Launch Management & Distribution Lead distribution strategies for new product launches across RTW & Shoes, ensuring alignment with merchandising priorities and retail strategies Execute complex allocation strategies within the system for seasonal collections and high-demand product to ensure precision and timeliness Oversee timelines for launch calendar to ensure smooth delivery to stores and clients Analysis & Optimization Monitor sales, stock coverage, and replenishment needs post-launch to optimize sell-through Generate reports and analyses on launch performance, highlighting key successes and opportunities Support continuous optimization of distribution flows through system enhancements and new processes Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Supply Chain counterparts to ensure cohesive, 360-transveral launches Collaborate with Merchandising to translate buy decisions into accurate distribution plans Provide support for Retail to ensure new product is available for store openings, events, and client activations with tailored distribution strategies Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline distribution workflows Maintain agility to respond to last-minute adjustments in stock needs, event demands, and market dynamics Support ad hoc projects and special initiatives across the RTW & Shoes categories Profile
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, with a proven track record of managing complex product flows in a luxury or fashion environment. We are excited to speak to individuals with strong analytical capabilities, able to translate complex business results into actionable strategies. A deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape, particularly with expertise in Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and Shoes, is highly valued. Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL is required, and experience with Python is a significant plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, along with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence diverse stakeholders. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented individual who takes strong ownership of their work, ensuring accuracy and thorough follow-through. The appointed candidate will be offered a salary range of USD $100,000 to $120,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. Please note that restrictions may apply to part-time employees The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
