Inside Sales Representative/Warehouse Associate
About the role
The Inside Sales Representative/Warehouse Associate plays a dual role in driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You’ll manage inside sales activities -- building strong relationships with customers, processing orders, and supporting the outside sales team while also assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This is a dynamic, hands‑on position ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and operational excellence.
What you’ll do
Sales & Customer Service Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication
Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
Provide information about products, pricing, and availability to new and existing customers
Place outbound calls to identify opportunities, decision‑makers, and service needs
Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to proactively increase market share
Work with warehouse personnel to價格 ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently
Assist with inventory management based on customer and branch needs
Warehouse & Operations Responsibilities
Perform shipping, receiving, and material handling duties
Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain organized stock areas
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification or willingness to obtain required)
Perform cut‑to‑size and fabrication as needed
Ensure adherence to housekeeping standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures
Communicate effectively with Sales and Management on material status and order fulfillment
Support warehouse process improvements and uphold company operational procedures
What you’ll need
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Excellent business writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required)
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a team‑selling environment
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
High level of honesty, integrity, and customer focus
Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S
Must pass background check and drug screening
High School Diploma or GED required
(Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field; experience in industrial or plastics distribution
