Sales Representative - Midwest Territory

The Sales Representative is accountable for selling AgroChem productsand/or services and for leading/facilitating all contact with key and targetcustomers within a defined territory or market segment. Specifically, thisposition is responsible for:
Revenue Management
Ensures that thefull value of AgroChem’s products and/or services is presented to key andtarget customers.
Identifiespricing levels and opportunities.
Monitorsactivity levels and revenues from customers and reports on performance.
Works with thebusiness unit managers to maximize the utilization of the Company’sfacilities.
Customer Management
Manages the relationship with key and target customers.
Establishes contract terms and conditions with key and target customers.
Identifies andproposes new services to key/target customers to expand the Company’s business.
Reports oncustomer satisfaction and concerns.
Co-ordinates with management throughout the Company to expand and improve relationships with key and target customers.
Createsincremental sales volume opportunities (work with dealer’s management,sales and customer base).
Brand Presentation/Product Knowledge
DifferentiatesAgroChem’s Products to key and target customers.
Providestechnical product knowledge support to customers in ways that establishesand maintains the integrity of the Brand, product performance, quality andpresentation.
Understands theCompany’s business, its industry and operations to clearly articulate thekey features and benefits relevant to all stakeholders
Market Intelligence
Providescomprehensive market reports clearly presenting business opportunities,critical success factors and market expectations.
Consolidates andanalyzes customer intelligence and competitor activities.
Provides reportson customer and competitor initiatives in the market.
Identifieskey/target customers, develops plan for approval, implements and reportson progress.
Gathers andcommunicates information on competitors and presents specific competitorstrategies.
Developsstrategy to win against competitors and reports on progress.
Develops newdistribution channels while maintaining balance with existing channels.
Communications / Reporting
Communicateswith operations management to enhance awareness of, and responsiveness to,customers.
Reportsregularly on issues effecting customers through concise analysis withrecommendations.
Builds, presentsand executes business plans related to the area of responsibility.
