Regional Sales Manager - Rockies PS
Position: Regional Sales Manager – Public Sector (Rockies: CO, UT, WY, MT) – Remote Colorado.
Relocation is not offered.

Responsibilities
Achieve assigned sales quota on a quarterly basis defined by forecasting accuracy, pipeline development, and closing business.
Prepare and deliver a dynamic territory strategy resulting in significant customer expansion across the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless portfolio (WWAN, Private Cellular, Neutral Host).
Utilize sales tools and resources to develop an effective prospecting plan and consistently maintain presence/visibility with existing customers to ensure satisfaction.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to both prospective and existing customers as defined by documented sales activities.
Weekly review your pipeline with your sales director and/or area vice president, defining actions to drive profitable growth.
Maintain ongoing communication and exceptional service and support to existing customers, mirroring the model to new customers as tracked by sales activities.
Coordinate involvement of company personnel (support, service, management) to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, incorporating this information into your territory strategy.
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings meeting company standards.
Develop and maintain the company’s image and reputation in the marketplace.
Use CRM for all account management processes: lead generation, contact, accounts set up, and order cycle completion.
Travel to and participate in tradeshows, events, and channel and carrier networking sessions.
Participate in required training and compliance as defined by the company.
Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of full‑time technical and/or carrier sales experience in the public sector (state, local government, education).
Demonstrated success in sales within the public sector defined by customer portfolio.
Experience with procurement vehicles/contracts (NASPO, GSA, etc.).
Strong knowledge of WWAN and telecommunications; experience in private cellular networks and neutral host preferred.
Recent documented experience managing SLED accounts in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana (state agencies, cities, counties, K‑12, higher education).
Confident self‑starter with integrity, accountability, and a record of consistent achievement.
Expertise in implementing and driving a channel sales model.
Highly competitive, entrepreneurial, with desire to tackle challenging opportunities.
Passion for winning, strong business strategy aptitude, and excellent collaboration skills.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
Decisive problem‑solving ability.
Ability to deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to customers/partners.
Demonstrated team orientation.
Must currently reside within Colorado.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range (national market): $120,000 – $162,000.
Variable Compensation Plan: Sales commissions based on performance against targets.
Health: Subsidized PPO medical benefit options, low‑deductible Plan of Service, and High Deductible Health Plan with HSA contribution.
Financial Security: 401(k) plan with 4% company match and immediate vesting; company‑paid basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
Time: Minimum 15 days accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 volunteer hours, 80 sick hours; paid maternity leave up to 16 weeks and parental/adoption leave 6 weeks at 100 % pay.
