The Senior Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a care‑giver for vehicle safety and reliability.

What We're Looking For
Valid driver’s license.
A passion for cars and customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform vehicle repair or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions, if authorized by the customer.
Conduct multi-point inspections and make recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
Maintain an inventory of normal technician tools and special tools.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
How Will I Know If I Am Successful?
Performance is measured by achieving targeted production.
Achieving targeted sales.
Attaining targeted Customer Satisfaction Index.
What Are The Requirements For This Job
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
Attention to detail.
Organization and follow-up skills.
Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable safe driving record.
