RS Avionics Installer I - 2nd Shift

Position Details
Shift: Second, Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am.
Employment type: Full‑time

Responsibilities
Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment following blueprints and engineering drawings.
Disassemble and assemble cabinets; perform basic plumbing for cabinetry.
Wire cabinetry per digital drawings; conduct functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Use a multimeter and other measurement tools.
Maintain required logs and records.
Comply with FOD, tool‑control, 5‑S, and all safety regulations.
Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Six (6) months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills and general software knowledge.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred and/or successful completion of Gulfstream youth apprenticeship program.
