Your Role at Baxter As a machinist, you will help create life‑sustaining products. You will set tooling, program and run CNC machines, troubleshoot, and collaborate with teammates in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.
Your Team The Manufacturing team supports each other through training, peer coaching, and a culture that values attention to detail and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Mount, position, and adjust cutting tools, adapters, collets, pushers, cams, threading devices, and other tooling to produce quality parts per drawing specifications.
Set proper feed and speed rates to ensure consistent, high‑quality part production.
Program CNC machinery, design and formulate blue‑print compliant programs, troubleshoot and adjust programs or machine settings as needed.
Assist supervisor to meet schedules and maintain smooth workflow.
Train, instruct, and support other operators.
Move stock and material as required.
Operate machinery as specified.
What You’ll Bring
Must pass Machine Set‑Up Test.
May be required to have a tow motor license.
High School Diploma or GED (applies to anyone hired after 1997).
Compensation Pay rate: $23.04 per hour. Baxter is committed to equitable pay and transparency.
