Number of Beds: 32
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Unit staffing description: Student nurse externs available as techs
Unit secretary available M-F 07:30-15:30
Type of equipment: Hill-Rom beds, Phillips telemetry monitors
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 4‑week schedules (3–4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period)
Floating policy: Float as needed to units where needed depending on unit census
Patient Experience requirements: None specific

Certifications: BLS
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set
Must have: Cardiac experience, strong critical care experience
Advanced skills needed: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP; Impella; CRRT preferred
Procedures performed on unit
Central line insertion, Swan insertion, intubations
Certifications Required
ACLS
Dress Code
Scrubs (galaxy blue, red, black); scrub jackets or vests only
