Requirements

Over 2 years of related work experience.

Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment.

Attention to detail to identify and rectify machine malfunctions.

Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery effectively.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Duties And Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe work environment.

Assisting forklift driver to load aluminum/gallvanized steel coils onto payoff.

Stringing roll form machine in preparation for operation with specific feeding tools or personal protective equipment as required.

Pre-forming cartons and filling them with product, sealing, stapling, using a bander or similar tools.

Verifying product and carton labels are correct, applied properly and in correct location.

Moving finished carton from packing table to storage or shipping rack, using established pushing/lifting techniques.

Transporting the rack full of finished goods from the machine to a pre-arranged staging area using a riding pallet jack.

Measuring the length of the product required and observing product quality.

Notifying management of any production or quality problems.

Lubricating the machine and/or refilling lubrication device.

Properly cutting up and disposing of scrap.

Filling out all required paperwork and/or entering time and production information into the computer.

Any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.

Position Details

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Shift Hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Waco, TX
