Account Operations Outside Specialist II (Manheim)
Fredericksburg, VA – Full‑time, Entry level
Responsibilities
Perform various clerical and administrative duties related to vehicle reconditioning fulfillment.
Receive inbound vehicle and registration information from customers requesting reconditioning services.
Enter data accurately into AS400 and other tools, ensuring vehicles are properly tagged with work orders.
Evaluate reconditioning needs, provide timely and accurate quotes, and estimate costs for cosmetic repairs.
Communicate repair charges and schedules with reconditioning shop management and post charges to appropriate accounts.
Monitor vehicles throughout the reconditioning process to meet timeline commitments and ensure quality standards are exceeded.
Perform recall checks and document results.
Coordinate with Pay & Points and Accounting staff to ensure timely payment and resolve billing discrepancies.
Build strong customer relationships, manage expectations, and provide quality service to resolve inquiries and problems.
Soft sell additional services to dealers upon delivery of existing work.
Follow up with customers to confirm completion and satisfaction.
Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Basic computer skills.
Physical requirements: regular standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing.
Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Work Environment Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
Compensation Hourly base pay: $24.09 – $36.11. May include commission or incentive programs.
Benefits Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off per month, seven paid holidays, additional leave such as bereavement, jury duty, and parental leave. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
