What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Handle accounts receivable for secondary insurance balances across various payer types, including Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross, Workers Comp, and Auto
Provide centralized claim denial routing and resolution
Utilize internal programs such as Oracle, SharePoint, and the Patient Accounting System for financial processes
Assist with front desk coverage at the Business Services Office while adhering to security protocols
Support training of new team members and assist in AR special projects as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum High School degree or GED
1-2 years of previous business office experience or 3 months or more of related background preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Availability to work onsite 5 times per week
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a healthcare-related business office setting
Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and insurance claim handling
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
