Overview Position Type: Part time | Compensation: $18 per hour | Location: Broadway Plaza, Rochester, MN | Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm (schedules may change with business needs; may include holidays and alternate workdays or hours).

About the Job We're seeking a Part Time Front Desk Representative at Broadway Plaza in Rochester, MN. The Front Desk Representative will support the business by exceeding guest expectations through timely, professional service and assisting with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Assist guests with luggage, groceries, and travel arrangements.

Patrol the building, monitor cameras, and respond promptly to fire calls received through the Simplex system.

Assist with check‑ins using knowledge of appliances, services, and transportation.

Answer after‑hours phone calls, gather reservation or quote information, and forward details to the on‑call staff member.

Provide valet parking services for VIP guests.

Maintain clean entrance and lobby areas.

Record updates on valet parking, activity, and packages.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

May provide cross‑training to staff.

About You / What You’ll Bring

High School diploma/GED.

Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Active listening and ability to understand and address guest inquiries.

Bi‑lingual preferred.

Confidence, enthusiasm, and strong dedication to the job and company.

Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn.

Customer‑focused approach to problem solving.

Work Environment Usual office working conditions with a desk, computer, and phone. Typical office background noise with telephones, personal interruptions, and ambient sounds.

Physical Demands Regular sitting, talking, and listening; frequent use of hands. Ability to use computer keyboard and mouse, dial, answer, and talk on telephone. Occasional walking and reaching with hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Requires close vision and ability to work under stress while remaining focused for extended periods.
