What you will do

Expertise of Liaison III skills and knowledge PLUS: Functions as a preceptor to new staff Complex appointment, procedure and surgery scheduling requiring strong knowledge of procedures and department protocols

Interprofessional collaboration with physicians OreAPPs, RNs, and other department staff in their designated program

Complex care coordination: procedure/surgical add-ons, admissions, multi-disciplinary procedure/surgical clearances, inpatient transfers, blood bank

Coordinates and facilitates authorization process - informs patient’s authorization and collects payment for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system

Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards

Coordinates care by scheduling, editing and maintaining routine patient physician appointments for new and returning patients

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Associates degree in health-related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

Three or more years of overall experience

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $36.66 - $41.30 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors,-hourly than but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
