Associate Director - Infrastructure, Energy, Climate & Sustainability Portfolio Finance Manager – Renewable Energy Infrastructure Company Overview Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy platform transitioning from a pure-play development shop into a fully integrated independent power producer. Backed by $460M of institutional capital, the company operates a 1.5 GW diversified pipeline spanning utility‑scale solar, wind, battery storage, and pumped hydro projects across the Western United States. Headquartered in Salt Lake City and employing approximately 70 professionals, the platform offers a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment with the strategic capital to scale its ownership and operating capabilities.

Role Overview The company is hiring a Portfolio Finance Manager to build and lead a newly formed function responsible for all project‑level financing obligations from financial close through construction and operations. Sitting at the intersection of

project finance, asset management, and investor relations , this role becomes the post‑close “quarterback” for each financed asset – managing day‑to‑day interactions with lenders, tax equity investors, and internal teams to ensure every project remains compliant, funded, and on schedule.

This position offers a rare opportunity to help establish scalable processes within a rapidly expanding independent power producer.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, capital markets, or portfolio finance, ideally within U.S. renewables.

Direct exposure to debt, tax equity, or structured project financings.

Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate financing terms into operational actions.

Highly organized and detail‑oriented, capable of managing covenants, reporting calendars, and complex multi‑stakeholder workflows.

Collaborative mindset suited for an entrepreneurial, cross‑functional environment.
