Critical Care Technician – Springhill Emergency Department (Days, Part Time)
Part‑time, 36 hours per week | 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, variable days of the week.
Overview The Critical Care Technician is responsible for assisting with or independently providing direct patient care to individuals assigned by the Manager/Registered Nurse, delivering services with compassion, caring, and respect.
Responsibilities Assist with or independently provide direct patient care to individuals assigned by the Manager/Registered Nurse, delivering services with compassion, caring, and respect.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Licensed EMT or Paramedic.
CNA or PCA with one (1) year of patient care experience in a clinical setting (acute care preferred).
Nursing students in an approved program preparing for professional or licensed practical nursing; must have completed didactic and clinical portions of nursing fundamentals.
Current employees who completed an approved professional or licensed practical nursing program and are awaiting NCLEX authorization to test (within 90 days post‑graduation).
Current employees who completed an approved professional or licensed practical nursing program and have been unsuccessful in passing the NCLEX examination (up to 6 months post‑initial authorization to test).
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
