Responsibilities
Monday‑Friday/First shift Opening
Great Benefits after 30 days
Operate newer well‑maintained equipment
Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
Collect empty cylinders from customers and return them to plant or branch to refill
Address customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction
Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance
Present a professional appearance and upkeep the vehicle's condition
Safely load, deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations
Establish and maintain good customer relations; provide timely communication back to manager or to the customer's Airgas sales associate regarding any changes or issues
Maintain load manifests and all required vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and reconciled with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries
Ensure vehicle manifests, placards, cylinder labeling, nesting and strapping comply with Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and all government regulations
Work in warehouse or on dock as needed
Qualifications
Valid Class B Driver's License
Valid Medical Examiner's Card
Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications (or ability to acquire certifications as a condition of employment)
One (1) year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record: no more than two (2) convictions; OR two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
In lieu of experience, may consider accepting a diploma from an accredited driving school or a combination of driving and prior Airgas specific experience
Must be at least 21 years or older

Forklift Experience
Touch freight delivery experience
\_ne Pay Range $30–$33/hr
