Procurement Operations & Sourcing Specialist
Location: New York, NY | Employment Type: Full‑time | Seniority Level: Associate | Job Function: Supply Chain (Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry)
Role Overview:
The Procurement Operations & Sourcing Specialist is a hybrid role responsible for ensuring efficient and effective procurement operations while also contributing to strategic sourcing activities. This position requires a detail‑oriented individual with strong organizational and project management skills, and a foundational understanding of sourcing principles. The role will support the Sr. Sourcing Manager with sourcing strategy, initiatives, P2P compliance, and ad‑hoc requests.
Responsibilities
Understand procurement operations and perform tasks such as PO creation, vendor management, and SAP transactions; troubleshoot procurement‑related issues.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, driving adherence and continuous improvement of processes across Maisons.
Prepare concise reports and presentations on procurement activities; conduct data analysis and build dashboards to support decision‑making.
Lead RFQs and RFPs from briefing to vendor selection, facilitating supplier communications, scope development, proposal analysis, cost negotiations, and driving completion.
Provide ad‑hoc support for cost savings/avoidance projects and other sourcing initiatives as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
Basic understanding of sourcing principles and practices.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, results‑driven, and able to drive projects independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of reporting upward in a clear and concise manner and managing relationships with Maison stakeholders.
Basic project‑management skills and ability to influence others.
Self‑motivated problem‑solver, adaptable to changing landscapes and multiple Maisons.
Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Oracle) is a plus.
Creative use of existing tools with interest in exploring new solutions.

Compensation and Benefits Expected salary range: $90,000 – $100,000, negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
