Summary The Software QA Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of company software products by designing, executing, and maintaining systematic testing processes. This includes developing and modifying test plans, automated scripts, and programs to validate software functionality and performance. The engineer analyzes test results, documents findings, and collaborates closely with development teams to resolve issues and recommend corrective actions. They also contribute to the creation of test standards and procedures, provide technical feedback on programming languages and systems, and support the integration of software into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing environments.
Responsibilities
Direct the design, execution, and maintenance of robust testing strategies across multiple software products and platforms
Champion the development of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and scalability
Act as a key liaison between QA, development, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless functionality and integration in complex environments
Create test cases in JIRA for documenting bugs and testing gaming software design
Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify and document defects
Collaborate with developers to analyze and troubleshoot issues
Automate test scripts using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
Ensure compliance with gaming industry regulations and company standards
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and stand‑ups
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
Conduct performance and security testing as required
Work with DevOps teams to support testing frameworks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2‑5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
Experience with gaming software testing or regulatory testing
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#
Familiarity with database testing (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
Experience with performance and load testing tools

Estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 – $122,400. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.
