Job Summary:
A Shift Leader is responsible for managing the restaurant’s overall operations during the shift, ensuring company standards, controlling costs, supervising staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all company standards are met and company policies and procedures are followed.
Ensure costs are properly controlled.
Communicate clearly with employees, supervising them effectively to ensure their assignments are completed properly.
Inventory supplies and reorder items.
Adjust the Par Prep Sheet so that fresh product is continually available to serve guests.
Observe and guide crew members as they perform their assignments, reallocate labor and coordinate overall operations.
Ensure that guests are served quickly and efficiently; solicit guest feedback and resolve guest complaints.
Qualifications
Exhibits a friendly and enthusiastic attitude while performing job assignments.
Shows a caring attitude for guests and employees, maintaining company operational quality and cleanliness standards.
Possesses basic computer skills for administrative duties.
Can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Maintains cash variances at acceptable levels.
Has reliable transportation.
Projects a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times in the restaurant.
Able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and lift 50 pounds.
Can perform motions that involve pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
Compensation Pay rates are dependent on availability and experience.
