This remote position is based in Manchester, NH, and focuses on servicing a wide range of medical equipment used in surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform fundamental troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of STERIS and competitor equipment, systems, and components.
Manage time effectively by prioritizing Customer and business needs and schedules autonomously to complete PM performance, service calls, warranty calls, equipment installations, field upgrade programs, and other duties.
Work with cross‑functional teams (Tech Support, Engineering, Service Contract Management) to appropriately escalate issues and use advanced technology platforms to complete compliance regulatory requirements and resolve and document troubleshooting issues.
Provide Customers with information, pricing, and repair options. With management support, build relationships with Sales to drive Customer experience and revenue opportunities, and identify sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
Provide support to various locations within the assigned territory depending on the service agreements and Customer needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of work experience, including at least 2 years in a mechanical/technical role. Associates degree or related certifications, competitive equipment training, or military experience may be considered toward the technical experience requirement.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet all required background and physical assessment elements for vendor credentialing.
Customer and team engagement experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Windows, email, navigation, mobile app, and ability to enter data into multi‑systems).
Ability to meet flexible schedules with potential overnights, as well as early/late hours, based on Customer and business needs.
Compliance with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.

Compensation Pay range for this opportunity is $60,137.50 – $77,825.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than the range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and foreign language fluency.
