Job Title: Regional Transportation Analyst

Hybrid: 3 days on site @ Franklin, TN Hub Location
Interview: 1st - with HG a MS Teams int Rep; 2nd - onsite int at Franklin Hub with Hiring Manager and Team
Summary We are seeking a skilled Transportation Analyst to join our logistics team, specializing in NAM Domestic Parcel Operations. The ideal candidate will analyze and optimize our small parcel operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation of goods across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in North America operations.
Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to reduce transportation costs while maintaining high service levels. Partner with our Indirect Procurement team to negotiate contracts with carriers to secure the best rates and services.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to resolve transportation issues and ensure smooth operations. Monitor and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Compliance: Ensure all small parcel operations (Air and ground) comply with relevant regulations and standards, including customs and security requirements.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present reports on transportation performance metrics to management. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of airfreight operations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation analysis, with a focus on small parcel.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of small parcel business and regulations, customs procedures and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with global supply chain management.
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
