Overview Peraton’s Cyber Mission team in Annapolis Junction, MD supplies the intelligence community with mission‑essential Next Generation SIGINT analysts and cyber professionals. As a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst, you will support our mission to defend and protect national security by providing next‑generation cybersecurity solutions and intelligence analysis.
Responsibilities
Evaluate target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks, and assist in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans.
Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels of the OSI network stack, bringing a solid understanding of logical/physical IP core infrastructure, communication devices, and traffic movements.
Develop new tradecraft needed to perform analysis as technologies evolve.
Work collaboratively with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise.
Apply curiosity and analytical talent to form hypotheses, assess techniques, and pivot within data to attain and share insights.
Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings—including any new tradecraft—with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.
Basic Qualifications
1) 15 years' experience without a degree OR 2) 13 years' experience with an associate degree OR 3) 11 years' experience with a bachelor's degree OR 4) 9 years' experience with a master's degree OR 5) 7 years' experience with a PhD
Experience in computer or information systems design/development/analysis roles; includes engineering hardware/software, programming, network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network administration.
Experience evaluating target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks, and assisting in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans.
Experience analyzing SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels within the OSI network stack.
Completion of military training such as JCAC may be considered towards the experience requirement.
Foreign language proficiency and DLPT scores may be considered relevant experience.
Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
Additional Qualifications
Understanding of logical/physical IP core infrastructure, communication devices, and traffic movements in a network.
Knowledge of developing new tradecraft needed to perform this analysis as technologies evolve.
