Responsibilities
Ensure that an appropriate number of cars is kept on location throughout the shift and that the lot is clean and presentable.
Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
Count vehicles on location throughout shift as needed.
Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate parking policies.
Patrol parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts.
Assist customers who forget where they parked.
Be present and in uniform on every scheduled shift.
Courteously assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager if necessary.
Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
Assist with maintenance and repair of parking equipment and other general tasks.
Report accidents, violations of policy, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
Communicate debris, spills, or other issues to garage office.
Substitute for Valets when authorized.
Maintain thorough knowledge of garage areas and major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
Assist Facility Manager with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Required
Less than high school education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
License Requirement
Valid state‑issued driver’s license if required to drive company vehicles.
Availability to Work
Shift flexibility, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information to customers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use units of American money.
Appearance
Neat and clean appearance; uniform required at all times.
Physical Demands
Regular standing, walking, hand use, occasional sitting, climbing, lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
