Job Details
Salary: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full‑time

Essential Duties
Manage daily property operations independently.
Provide exceptional customer service: answer inquiries, assist with storage needs, handle rental agreements.
Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage delinquent accounts, including collection efforts.
Conduct cash drawer audits and execute bank deposits as per company policies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, with a focus on safety and maximizing units available for rent.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to multitask.
Sales experience.
Physical Requirements
Conduct property walks often during shifts.
Spend about 50% of time outdoors: walking, climbing stairs, opening large doors.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the property, including inspections and maintenance tasks (sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.).
Transport lift/move items up to 35 pounds.
Run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations as required.
Average Day As an Assistant Property Manager, your day is dynamic and diverse. You start by preparing for opening, ensuring everything is clean and in working order, counting the cash drawer, and conducting a property walk‑through. Throughout the day you assist customers in finding storage solutions, handle rental agreements, process payments, and address any concerns. Interspersed with customer interactions, you perform inspections, check maintenance needs, and ensure safety and security measures. You may also engage in virtual meetings, collaborative projects, and continued training. The day ends with closing procedures and securing the property. You work five days a week, no Sundays, with a 6 pm finish for a good work/life balance.
