PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology-related projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards and business objectives. The Project Manager coordinates across departments, manages resources, and communicates effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning and Initiation
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Identify project requirements, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Execution and Coordination
Lead cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, QA, and IT specialists.
Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
Conduct regular project meetings to review updates, identify challenges, and implement solutions.
3. Resource and Budget Management
Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
Track expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Coordinate with vendors or third-party providers for technical and operational support.
4. Communication and Reporting
Serve as the primary contact between management, clients, and project teams.
Provide timely project status reports, documentation, and performance updates.
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Quality Assurance and Risk Management
Ensure project outputs meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
Identify and assess project risks, creating mitigation and contingency plans.
Conduct testing and validation before deployment or release.
6. Process Improvement and Innovation
Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to each project.
Evaluate project outcomes and recommend process improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in project management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a tech or software environment.
Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master is an advantage.
