Lead Navigator A Lead Navigator is an individual in recovery from AOD use and/or GMH for at least one year, who has at least 90 days’ experience as a Navigator or Peer Support Specialist. The role involves working with homeless individuals, providing outreach and supportive services to help members end their homelessness, and serving as a bridge between the patient and the community‑based services. The Lead Navigator coordinates and monitors housing and community services, conducts outreach, engagement, case‑management, and wrap‑around supportive services, mentors Navigator II staff, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, counseling, and clinical leaders.
Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or GED (an associate or higher degree in a behavioral health field is preferred).
Recovery from AOD use and/or GMH for at least one year.
1‑3 years of full‑time health‑care related work experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Current Arizona driver’s license and a clean 39‑month motor vehicle record.
Completion of Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) training and compliance with A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI clinical policies.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card and Site‑specific clearance.
